II. Development Goals
The Institute of Modern Logistics, Jilin University, with the aim of combining teaching and scientific research and cultivating academic echelon, gives full play to the scientific research capability of its team members with the help of the Institute, to solve the theoretical and practical problems encountered in the construction of China's modern logistics system and to formulate logistics development plans and related policies and regulations for the government. Provide theoretical basis and technical service for enterprises to formulate logistics development strategy and logistics process design.
III. Research Areas
The Institute of Modern Logistics at Jilin University mainly focuses on modern logistics system planning and key technologies, including logistics system planning and design, logistics management and engineering technology, supply chain management, and logistics information system analysis and design.
IV. Introduction
Established in June 2001, the Institute of Modern Logistics at Jilin University is the earliest research institution in Jilin Province to engage in the research and application of modern logistics planning and key technologies. The Institute relies on the establishment and development of transportation planning and management, which is a key discipline in Jilin Province, with equal emphasis on teaching and scientific research, and now has a multi-level disciplinary support system with doctoral and master's degrees in transportation planning and management, master's degrees in logistics engineering, and undergraduate majors in transportation and logistics engineering. The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing established the "Jilin Logistics Technician Professional Qualification Test Center" and "Jilin ITC Procurement and Supply Chain Management International Qualification and Registrar Professional Qualification Test Center" in the Institute of Modern Logistics of Jilin University in 2003 and 2005. ", through the professional qualification examination, it promotes the training of talents and the improvement of staff quality in the logistics industry.
The Institute of Modern Logistics of Jilin University has undertaken more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial level and local government vertical and horizontal research projects related to logistics, involving modern logistics system development strategies and related policies, road transport logistics development planning, freight station layout planning and internal logistics system planning and other fields; it has trained nearly 300 undergraduates and 100 postgraduates in logistics engineering. He has published more than 100 academic papers in the field of logistics and 8 textbooks.
V. Research Team
The Institute of Modern Logistics at Jilin University now has 19 researchers, including 3 doctoral supervisors, 4 professors, 5 associate professors, 1 senior engineer, and 6 lecturers. There are 10 Ph.D. holders and 2 on-the-job Ph.D. holders. In recent years, the state has sent 10 visiting scholars or international academic conferences, and invited foreign experts to give lectures for many times.
